“Resist with a Twist” Wall Hanging

Description: In this Three-in-One class you will make a wall hanging that demonstrates how a simple technique for wax resist can be done using three different coloring applications which give a variety of effects. You will be shown examples of how each transfers into an art piece of its own. Students should bring the following supplies: heat tool/embossing gun, shoebox with lid, black permanent marker-Sharpie with fine point, a controlled temp wood-burner with pointed tip, needle nose pliers for twisting wire, beads for embellishment (optional), old shirt or apron.
