Stained Glass Light

Description: Students will learn the techniques used in stained glass mosaics and how to make a light using a kettle gourd and real stained glass. Students must bring mask, gloves and leather or cotton gloves to use when breaking or cutting glass. Students should bring a saw and woodburner. Teacher will have some to share.
The instructor will provide a complete kit with all supplies for $40 including a kettle gourd (cleaned), opened and ready to cut design, light, assorted glass to make design and epoxy glue. If students wish to bring their own gourd be sure it has straight sides. Wear paint clothes or bring an apron or shirt and mask.
