Instructor: Alycin Hayes            Level: All          Students 15      Fee: $27 Description: Students will learn the basics of playing songs with gourd percussion instruments such as Rainsticks, Shakers like the Caxixi and Shekeree, the unique screaming Cuica, Latin Guiro, Brazilian Berimbau, drums and other gourd instruments.  Alycin's book  “Play Your Gourd! A PRACTICAL BEGINNERS GUIDE TO PLAYING GOURD PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS ” is included in the class fee.  Please bring any gourd percussion instruments you want to learn to play to class.
