Description: In class you will learn to transfer a pattern to a gourd , color it using a wet on wet leather dye application, then etch a dremel or other rotary carver. We will add pine needle rim to the bowl. Students should bring Dremel or other rotary tool, with a flex shaft and a 3/32 cullet. We will use a # 105 bit in the Dremel. Please bring a dusk mask if you require one while carving gourds.
