CHIP CARVING A GOURD BOWL

Instructor: Jim Bennett         Level: All          Students: 12     Fee: $35

Description:  Students will prepare gourd surface.  Two design patterns will be displayed allowing students to choose design.  Following chip carving stain and final finish will be applied.  Must have a protective glove and two “U” shaped wood gouge, size #11 x 1/4” and 11 x 1/8” (or 11 x 3/16”).  Students can email instructor at jagbennett@wmconnect.com with gouge questions.  All other supplies will be supplied by instructor.  Students should also bring is possible a drawing compass.
