Description:  Cordage Making; Trimming a Gourd with Natural Materials

Learn the ancient art of cordage (rope) making using dried leafy materials like day lilies and yucca.  Use your cord and other Florida naturals to trim a small gourd.  All supplies included, you might want to bring some things from your garden or a woods near you.

Students should bring an old towel and a small container for water.  no electricity needed, everything else supplied.
