Patch Activity: Dot Painted Gourd Flowers

At the start, Diane had the Gourdians paint a base coat on their gourds. She passed around a calendar showing authenic Australian Aboriginal Art which includes a lot of dotted work. Everyone enjoyed looking at that; many used ideas for their designs. Dot work takes a lot of time so not many had a chance to finish, but all were progressing nicely. It will be exciting to see their completed projects next month. Diane said she would be sending them the written directions for this activity later.
