Patch Activity: Pressed Natural Materials on a Gourd

The gourdians were “pressed” into action at this meeting. First, they
painted their whole gourds. While their gourds were drying, they took a
lunch recess. Next they adhered pressed flowers and leaves to their
gourds with Golden's Medium Gel ( a type of decoupage). [Diane prefers
this brand of decoupage to the one made by Plaid because it doesn't take
the Gilder's paste well.] For the final step they applied gilder’s paste
on top of the raised pressed materials making it stand out.
“PRESTO”! They each produced a LOVELY piece of gourd art!
