Patch Activity:  Mini Gourd Wall Hangings

Facilitator:  Joy Sutton

 

Gourdians were given prepared gourd pieces and wire, and beads were also made available.  After that, each was “on her own”.  Various gourding techniques were used such as woodburning and painting.  The activity provided an opportunity to use multimedia.  Creations included:  gourd figures, painted flowers, and Valentines.
