UPDATE INFORMATION ON RETREAT:

Reminder:  You MUST supply your own linens and towels, as these will not be provided.     

Back by popular demand, we will be once again be playing GOURDO one evening.

We will be doing a Christmas Ornament exchange for anyone that wants to participate, please bring your hand made gourd Christmas Ornament wrapped.  Do not put your name on the package, but please do sign your ornament. 

Additionally, remember this is our FALL Meeting time and the meeting will be held Saturday evening.

There will be several Make and Takes during the day on Thursday and in the evening hours after dinner.  Signup sheets in the dining hall. (See attached sheet for current list of evening classes.)

We have a gourd vendor THE GOURD PILE, phone 229-775-2123, available for the purchase of gourds.  

Bonnie Gibson, www.arizonagourds.com, will be bringing a limited amount of products for purchase and

Sunshine Carving will be here. Vendor tools available . Proxxon jig saws, Everglades wood burners and pens, flexcut gouges for chip carving , gourd books and carving books, power grinders, burs of all kinds, and much more.You can visit my ebay store by logging on to ebay and go to:  Everglades Woodcarving Supplies. If you want to order items or gourds and have them brought to the retreat please contact the vendors personally.

Water and soda will be available for purchase at the retreat on a honor system.

HERE IS HOPING EVERYONE HAS A GREAT TIME.  REMEMBER, THIS IS A RETREAT AND YOU ARE “ROUGHING” IT TO ENJOY YOURSELF AND NOT BE BOTHERED BY THE “OUTSIDE” WORLD.  WE WILL BE MAKING EVERY EFFORT TO ENSURE YOU ARE COMFORTABLE.  THIS IS A TIME FOR PEOPLE TO ENJOY EACH OTHER AND THEMSELVES AND TO GAIN NEW FRIENDS AND ACQUAINTENCES IN THE GREAT WORLD OF GOURDING.
